Sometimes (driven by weather conditions) the harvest begins as early as 8 May and sometimes it lasts as long as 6 weeks .. though that is rare. Last year I went late because a couple from Ireland wanted me to meet them there and they couldn't come early. We arrived on 2 June and the harvest concluded on 3 June .. so we were cutting it very close. > or see the distillation proces. If you mean Rose distillation then the above applies .. if you are also interested in other forms of distillation .. Oregano, Sage, Rosemary, Lavender and so on .. any time after 15 June and through September. Of course, some of those plants are distilled year around as they can be distilled when dry .. in fact, its better to distill some when dry. There are MANY more photos .. but some knucklehead invaded Christine Ziegler's website a couple of years ago and destroyed it. Lucky it is that she had the photos saved and has slowly started to rebuild it but I think maybe her morale was sorta bruised when that happened. ;-) A few others can be found below .. but there are MANY, MANY others .. including lots of photos of Chris and her friend Andrea picking Roses with the ladies in the fields.
