oil and water don't mix... what you got was the difference between a

vinagrette dressing... and a mayonaise...which uses eggs to emulsify the

ingredients.

 

you need an emulsifyer... some people use beeswax and borax...the only

really 'natural' emulsifier... I've not had good luck with it...
