We tried that last night (along with some black pepper and wintergreen. Although I can say I can do without that wintergreen as it made my head loopy. I know wintergreen is to be used with much caution and I can see why. That was not a good feeling. Teresea C.

Hi Theresa; As an herbalist, i definitely would *not* have mixed the SJW oil and heli with the pepper and wintergreen, as the last two are stimulant and warming, and the first two are antiinflammatory and cooling. They would probably cancel each other out. I'm also of the school of healing that doesn't agree you need to bring 'heat' to an injured site. I believe it is much more effective to cool the nerve endings, and have seen it work many, many times with the SJW/heli blend (with some other cooling herbs added in my special blend), esp. with back injuries, sciataca, and other 'hot' injuries. Just try the SJW. let us know what happens. Ditch the wintergreen, it's toxic anyway :-P http://member.newsguy.com/~herblady
