Yes ma'am .. grew up in that environment .. and since becoming an adult

I have done it a few times just for the heckuvit. ;-)

 

For Debra .. I touched on olfactory memory yesterday .. it'll be kinda

interesting to see if the following pulls up some of that memory .. for

her and for other folks. :-)

It would be nice though the distillers might get a little concerned as

it would bruise the blossoms and cause them to begin to lose essential

oil. But .. they're very hospitable in that regard .. up to a point ..

Thankee ma'am .. but I can't take credit for all the photos shown in the

URL above. As a photographer I am at a skill level where I shoot 150

photos and hope to get 35-40 decent ones from the entire lot. ;-P

 

On a civilian technical level I operate a few years behind most folks.

I can grasp the what for and how of an ICBM re-entry or the trajectory

calculations for a Cruise Missile quicker than I can adjust my PC or

program my oven. I bought my first digital camera last summer and after

the recent move I have yet to find the instructions booklet .. so .. in

trying to clean some bad photos I had in the camera's memory prior to

heading to the Rose Fields, I messed around and finally succeeded .. in

cleaning ALL THE PHOTOS stored in the camera. :-( But .. the photos

taken on the trip to Isparta are still intact. :-)
