Greetings from East TN:

Happy Memorial Day Week-end to all in the USA. A happy fragrant week-end to the

rest of you. ;) We live on a mini farm just West of Knoxville, TN. Been

studying herbs on and off for hmmm 30 yrs, plus playing with aromatherapy since

I picked up a book and several oils in England 11 years ago. Hydrosols are

newer to me, just a few months on those. <grin> Just received Suzanne Catty's

book and can't keep my nose out of it. ;)

Mostly make medicinal extracts, and eo concoction's for specific needs. Have

been collecting all necessaries to begin making more extensive lotions, etc.

Previously, only made salves, ointments, and remedies with eo's. All I can say

is: " I have a very expensive addiction! " LOL

Have enjoyed the list files and messages of this group for a few days~and

figured it was time for an intro.

See a few familiar names on this list~and am thrilled to be here. Look forward

to expanding my knowledge from you all, and hope to be able to interject a few

goodies soon.

Marge, just wanted to say: Love your site, recommend it frequently to folks,

have spent many hours reading and learning from you. Our Naturopathic Dr.

daughter turned me onto your site~and I've been a frequent guest since...

My quest nowadays is to find good suppliers of 'harder to find' hydrosols in the

USA. Any input would be most appreciated. Man-O-Live~that Jasmine hydrosol

sounds lovely! Any chance of there being any available?

Wishing you a fragrant day~

Hi, Deb!

So, you're into hydrosols? Can I ask you a question? Are they supposed to

smell " true " to what they are from or what? I bought a gallon of rose and a

gallon of lavender from who I thought was a reputable source, and it's my first

purchase of hydrosols.

Are they supposed to smell like rotting flowers? lol

I can't ask on the list because the person I bought them from is ON the list!

lol

Thanks!

Cindy
