I feel compelled to contribute to this thread by showing my

Minnesota Iron Range roots by posting my recipe for Red Beer! LOL!!

Red Beer

12oz can of beer

2oz tomato juice

Salt & Pepper to taste

Pop open your beer can. Drink 2oz. Pour in tomato juice. Salt &

Ahh, my mother's favorite hangover cure!!! Seriously! I remember watching her

drink it and just did not get how she could

drink alcohol if she felt that bad. I still don't get it but she doesn't drink

like she used to either now :)

LOL,

Glad to see you posting!!!! But, I gotta say, I don't think I could handle

this red beer!!! LOL!!! I could possibly drink it with my Bock beer sans

the tomato juice, salt and pepper!! LOL!! :)

Hope your feeling better and getting well.

RJ, I LOVE a red beer! Except being from south east TX I add a little Tabasco

to it, almost like a Bloody Mary!

Geez, I don't miss my heavy drinking days! LOL! She drank it out

of desperation! Anything not to be hungover!

Hi RJ,

I hear that, I don't miss mine either!! Best hangover cure I used was peanut

butter toast--lots of nice B vitamins and at

least I could function if necessary the next day.
