Guest guest
Sorry for your loss. Kids are only young once and if this was tasted I bet they won't touch anything else in a brown bottle for fear of the taste. I had a friend whose child got a whole jar of vaseline (which was on the top shelf) and smeared it all over his head. It took bottles of shampoo to remove most of the grease. Years later...it sure is a funny story to tell kids/grandkids on how bad Daddy was when he was little. - 5/20/2004 9:33:30 PM So angry I could just SCREAM!/OT I got a lovely bottle of Bulgarian Lavender today from Janice. 4 ounces of the stuff. Guest guest
Kathleen, I am soooo sorry to hear of your loss of the Bulg. Lavender. At least your precious baby didn't get hurt, as well as the Lavender being lost. Years from now, you will have a nice story to tell. Hopefully you won't get so upset when you think of it. Reminds me a bit of my daughter.....she did kinda the same thing.....only she got into a bottle of Act Fluoride Rinse.....she poured some in the toilet, and drank the rest! I knew that excess fluoride could cause problems....so I called poison control. They told me to take her to the E.R. So I did. You know what they were more concerned with??? Alcohol poisoning! I was shocked. They took blood, and did a blood alcohol level on her. Everything was ok....they said she was a bit " tipsy " but she would be fine! But I was just sooooo upset at the time! We laugh about it now. Take care, and I hope you both rest well tonight! Candy in AL

Guest guest
Hi K, Sorry about the lavender. If you want to get the smell out buy a cheap can of coffee and put it on the spot where the lavender was poured and let it sit there. The coffee will absorb the smell. Guest guest
Oh, Kathleen your story reminds me of a friend who walked in on her little one who was mopping the floor with a bottle of Neroli! Ouch. It was not a happy day in that house, well, except that it smelled good! Guest guest
You could always make the garage their bedroom and then you wouldn't have to buy anymore for a while. teehee MAKE A HAPPY MEMORY EVERY DAY: Evelyn Alternasense Skin Design Products www.alternasense.com<http://www.alternasense.com/> - WoobeyQueen<WoobeyQueen < > Thursday, May 20, 2004 10:59 PM Re: So angry I could just SCREAM!/OT In a message dated 5/20/2004 7:50:19 PM Pacific Standard Time, cdlucas<cdlucas writes: > At least your precious baby didn't get hurt, as well as the Lavender being > lost. > Well... that's true. Guest guest
I understand...completely. When my oldest daughter was three (she is now 22, and a mommy herself), it was really quiet one day. I was enjoying the quiet, when one of my cats came by me with weird " stuff " on it...I investigated in the kitchen, found my daughter with a fairly new can of Crisco, anointing her hair, her clothing, the floor and the cats with this stuff. I cleaned the floor; discovered that the only thing that takes shortening out of little girls' hair is dish soap; washed her clothes, and left the cats to fend for themselves. I honestly thought that summer she was going to kill herself - if she didn't, I was tempted!!! All I can tell you is that someday, you will say most gleefully, " What goes around, comes around!
