Guest guest
I have a good friend (we have known each other since 7th grade - eons ago!) who has a comfrey plant. I need to know how to make a comfrey oil infusion, please. My instinct is to take the leaves (how many?), rinse them well in water (she does not use any chemicals on her plants), pat dry with paper towels, then slice them very fine (or blend in blender?), put in warm oil (can I use jojoba? How much oil?), let sit? how long? or " squish " the mixture several times (with clean hands, of course)?, then strain the mixture and bottle the oil. Should I do the comfrey leaf bit two or more times, or is once enough? How long will this infused oil keep? Refrigerate or not? Any instruction in this endeavor will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
