Guest guest Posted May 13, 2004 Report Share Posted May 13, 2004 Well, I have finaly reached the limit for my overwheight and slam bang - just quit sugar, to much animalistic fats (like heavy diery products), alcohol and all other things that makes life worth living ;-P Cold turkey, right overnight and is on my 4rt day of this very healthy life. And - it works like a charm, lost 4lb already (and yep, that says a LOT of my former way of eating and such). Oatmeal porrigde, all-bran bread - without butter, but with some pesto, lots of beans and other veggies and lean meat. HA, guess if I'm proud of myself :-O BUT, I do have these urges for something at least semisweet to go with my cup of tea in the afternoons. Just a nibble or two - pleassseeee.... So, I would like to find a recipe for some chewy cookie type of things - low on sugar and animalistic fats (butter cream etc), high on fibers, nuts, dried fruits - whatever gives them a bit of sweetness, without anything artificial. And chewy like too. Any good ideas?? It get's soooo booring to eat those rice crackers - just like eating air...
