I have attempted to group together some data on its' occurrence in oils, summarised some of the conclusions of safety bodies who have investigated its toxicology, and highlighted a new piece of work that shows methyl eugenol blood levels in US citizens are higher than expected. I believe we have had enough pontificating on this issue, and that the AT community has a right to a proper investigation as therapists may be a possible " at risk " category of exposed workers. Anyway we need it sorted. Consequently I am actively agitating behind the scenes for some investigative work from suitably qualified toxicologists. Please would anyone who could put this reference (to Cropwatch 3) out on idma, natural perfumery or any other lists please do so and inform me. I can give you the original word document if anyone wants to feature it on websites, newsgroups or whatever - there is no problem to its reproduction elsewhere, or indeed any of the Cropwatch series. Finally I'm hoping to feature articles from other writers (than me) in Cropwatch 4 - so if you have a burning issue with the tools of our trade please contact me. Articles should be in the same spirit - telling the cold truth as the writer sees it, with no hype.
