Guest guest
I have sent this out to one of the Canadian groups that I am on, and I thought, I'd ask you guys for your input. I was invited to join a , which just happens to have the same name as my company, not only that the woman who runs the group is planning on opening a store under that same name in England.. What if anything can I do? I'm thinking of trade marking the name, but would have to do that in Britian, Canada and USA ( to get the name changed). Looking at about $1500 to so all three. I have joined this group , but haven't introduced myself yet, LOL... Waiting to calm down first, and explore my options. I have owned the company name here in canada for 2 years now, and the domain name.com for about a year and a half. This busy little group, has been around only since april of this year, and has 500 members so far. My girlfriend tells me to use it as a marketing tool, to advertise my site and my company.. Suggestions from the group would be most appreciated here, as I am pretty ticked, especially when I am getting a lot of emails with my company name on them. Pass the vallium please.
