Storing essential oils, hydrosols, etc

Could someone tell me if it's necessary to keep these different oils

cold in the fridge, because I read that somewhere, but cannot find

anymore information about it. I always keep any kind of oil, cooking,

medicinal, even nuts and seeds cold so they do not go rancid. I don't

know if distilled oils are the same or not. They are in glass

containers, some in looks like aluminum. Few, plastic.
