Bugs are worst in Michigan than Europe...bigger, too..

People here have screens on every window and even nice little

screenhouses in their yards to have some peace..

We like to say that the mosquito is our State bird

For mosquitos a little dish with hot water and a drop of catnip oil

will deter the immediate surroundind.

At least that's what has worked here for me.

You should see what people have here on gadgets to 'kill' bugs. Blue

electronic bugzappers that attract bugs and than zaps them.

They are noisy and ugly...

About learning things and it not sticking with us...

At 60, I would say, it's still there, just not in the forefront, but can

be easily revived with intense study.. sometimes, I find myself

forgetting basic math and 5 years of french studies leave me with what

seems zero, but I knwo some is still there , for when I see or hear a

french word or phrase, I sure can decipher it.

After 50 you get these stupid short memory lapses that are embaressing,

one just lives with it..
