Hi Pam,

I tried making it once, I am a good cook- terrible baker- my Italian

family has a hard time with measuring tsp, we only know pinches and

dashes-LOL..... but I make strawberry jam and mint jelly every year,

it comes out great, the rose- YUCK!!!!! I can't remember what kind of

roses I used not wild but I did something wrong.

rose? I have roses growing around our farm (some planted, some wild)

and was just wondering....:-)....and my other question..ok...so HOW

does it taste? just like strawberry jam or something? having a hard

time trying to guess what roses would actually taste like :-)

I just got around to checking out the rose petal jam.....this is probably a

stupid question...or two...but has anyone ever used other types of roses to make

this jam?

I always made it with any fragrant rose petals.

and if so - can you use any type of rose? I have roses growing around our farm

If they smell good, do it!

Teo me it tastes liek they smell if that makes any sense. Oh and I make it in

the freezer jam recipe, not the cooked jam.

Let me see if I can find that recipe... it has been years since I made any.
