Like with anything there will invariably be some who need to cancel their orders due to personal reasons, which is completely understandable. Should this happen I am taking names for anyone who would like to be on the standby list. If you are interested in standby status please sent me at e-mail at Seraphimstouch stating the minimum and maximum amounts you would like to be on standby for. Prices are: 5 ml (1/6 oz) 2.30 10 ml (1/3 oz) 3.87 15 ml (1/2 oz) 5.50 30 ml (1 oz) 10.25 120 ml (4 oz) 39.60 Shipping of the absolute will be via USPS priority mail. Insurance will be optional. There will be a $1.25 hosting fee applied to all orders to cover the cost and time of breaking down the absolute into the smaller sizes. If there is interest in larger amounts than listed please feel free to send me an e-mail and I'll work up a price for you. Payment methods will be Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Personal Checks (with a 5 to 7 day waiting period to clear) and of course money orders. Guest guest
What are the uses for cocoa absolute? Rahnny
Guest guest
Hi Rahnny, I'm finding I use the cocoa absolute a lot in citrus and floral blends that I am putting in a diffuser. Just one drop adds a wonderfully rich, chocolate undertone to them. You can use it in perfumery and depending on how each person, after their own investigations to the safety of absolutes, in a bath salt, lotion etc. If you follow the guidelines in Martin Watts Plant Aromatics for Absolute & Concrete Extracts on page 28 of his manual you should be able to make a decison on how to properly use the cocoa absolute in skincare products. Fortunately the cocoa absolute is a relatively good base note so a little will go a long way in my opinion.Using the guidelines and information in Martns book I made a Patchouli/Cocoa bath salt for someone. The cocoa really helps to make the patchouli nice and rich. Personally, I find sniffing the cocoa absolute helps me with my chocolate cravings. This is just my experience and don't take it as a claim to ending chocolate addiction lol. Guest guest
I am one of those unfortunate souls that gets migraines from eating chocolate, not always, but it can bring them on. I got a sample of the cocoa abs from Butch, and it smells heavenly, but just smelling it I can feel a migraine coming on. Thank you Bill for the info on it. I was just curious as to how and what it was used in. Wish I could buy some, but I can't Rahnny

Poor Rahnny I hear you about Chocolate and Migraines though. If I have a headache coming on and I hit the chocolate stash (yes, I have a stash of Marabou Chocolate...) I'm guaranteed to sink into Migraine Hell. I have learned that headaches + chocolate is a BIG no-no. K Cheers!
