I have read the pennyroya,fennel*which I dont have yet),rosemary,

lavender, mint, and others were good for flea prevention. Som say they

have put eo directly on back of neck. I want to make a collar that

can be filled with the fresh or dried herbs and tied aroun d the dogs

neck.I thought of a triangular neck tie, with a chnnel sew in around

the neck side, or just a tube loolsy filled and tyed around the necxk.

does anyone have ideas or recomndations? i AM ALSO GOIN to start a

new line of herbal pet soaps with thes herbs to stop fleas.

I have heard these herbs work great for fleas and safer than the use

of all the chemicals.Has anyone here tried herbs for flea and ticks,

and did it do any good?

Tammy, I have wormwood growing in my back yard and take a few leaves ,

rubbed between my hand, than pet my cat down with it.

Has worked great. Also do the same for me. Rub a few fresh leaves

between my hands and than put my hands where th emosquitos like to bite

me,..

Best flea prevention is to feed you animal nutriteous yeast in small

amounts during the 'outside' season.

I like your idea of the fleacollar, just do a little more research, for

I think they would have a short shelf life..:) I'd use a mix of

pennyroyal, mint, southernwood, catnip and wormwood, cynnoglossum offic.(

horsetail) if you have access to it.
