Guest guest
Hi Hugo, Just to stop drooling prick around the lips; a little bleeding is O.K. Treat several times, like every day or every other day. But you also must drain dampness. Also tell her to stop eating raw foods to help with avoiding further dampness. Good luck, Gloria Hugo Ramiro <subincor wrote: Hi all, some help possibly? (cannot give full info right now sorry) Female, 25 years old, very slim. Improvements: moods are no longer unstable rarely dizzy appetite slightly increased very rarely nauseous aches and pains reduced by about half concentration better Not improved her energy is better, but I rate it as less than 1/4 improved, she agrees *** her drooling seems to be worse actually So any ideas, I'd like to stop the drooling, I think it may be damaging her teeth as well. Guest guest
Hi Gloria. Do you recommend a particular number of needles (not more than 8? etc) or a gauge? Depth? Just superficial insertion? Retention? I assume by prick you mean superficial insertion with rapid withdrawal. So the whole process is very short, right? Thank you, Hugo The Traveler <dumai20baihui Chinese Medicine Thursday, 14 June, 2007 4:24:47 AM Re: Drooling Hi Hugo, Just to stop drooling prick around the lips; a little bleeding is O.K. Guest guest
Hi Hugo, Yes, prick with a 13mm. that you'll have a firm handle on what you're doing. Procedure: Have px. lay down with leg booster, very comfortably. You'd sit next to her head (looking at her profile if you will) very comfortably (grounded) If you're left handed stabilize her head with your right hand (that arm will double as the comforting hand) You and your px. will feel more comfortable if you wear a face mask because you'll be very close to her face (to avoid breathing on her. You would want to rest your working elbow (right or left) of her chest (so what you can do is put a pillow on her that you would not touch her breasts with your elbow. The key here is that YOU are relaxed and working elbow grounded. You'd then prickle around her lips 1 mm apart and go around the lips. If it's too painful, space it a bit more. Depth of needle about 2 ~ 3 mm. No needle retention. You'll do the whole treatment with one needle. If it bleeds a little, that's fine. You might want to needle SP9 and SP3to drain dampness, LV13 to tonify SP, CV6 to raise Qi, ST 36 also to tonify SP. To help her sleep better, HT7, ANMIAN, YINTANG, PC6. Good luck Gloria P.S. If the drooling doesn't subside dramatically, let me know kuz I have couple other suggestions. Glow needle. bincor wrote: Hi Gloria.
