Healing Retreat Center in California?

Can anyone refer me to a healing retreat center in California? A place

which offers wholesome food with stay, meditation, yoga, acupuncture,

counseling, etc.? Possibly integrated practice of eastern and western

medicine. Also offering retreats at least 1-2 weeks long. I'm really

looking for a place that offers structered programs. Thank you very

much for your help.

I'd love to open one of these places here near San Diego or near

Santa Fe, N.M.

 

There is a great retreat center just over the border in Tecate,

Mexico, 20 minutes from here (San Diego), Rancho La Puerta. . . .look

it up on the web, it is an amazing place. . .

Thank you Zev for your recommendation, I looked at the web site and it does

offer quite a bit. I'm wondering though if anyone knows of a place where upon

arrival a practitioner or practitioners sits down and review one's case, then

makes indivualized recommendations for modalites including Oriental Medicine or

Ayurvedic, Western treatment and everything that a spa would offer. Basically

an intensive Healing Retreat where the patient is having treatment everyday with

a number of modalities that are offered but that are prescribed by a

practitioner based on the person's individual constitution and complaints.

Hi Maureen,

 

Take a look at Deepak Chopra's center in La Jolla. I think they offer what you

describe, in addition to other retreats for relaxation, etc. I know they offer

ayurvedic, and I think they might also offer acupuncture. Chopra himself is a
