Guest guest
It sounds like an extension of sensory integation techniques, used often in the treatment of other brain disorders. Check out this website (one of many from an occupational therapy practice) http://brighttots.com/sensory_integration.html This " brushing technique " is common for de-sensitization, and used for self-care at home. Combining it with meridian therapy is a great adaptation. You would use a new brush on each child. There are many other techniques for sensory integration in occupational therapy (not to mention the need for comprehensive assessment) so a knowledgeable referral and concurrent treatment would optimize both modalities, Valerie Hobbs L.
