Guest guest Posted May 18, 2007 Report Share Posted May 18, 2007 Mostly true, but the other side to the story is that patients who could use acupuncture or Chinese medicine, are turned off to it by poor (and most times painful) results from an untrained hobbyist (MD, DO, or DC), the same person who would most likely try and keep people from seeing a professional acupuncturist because we might keep the patient from seeing a " real doctor " .
