Guest guest
" One curiosity is that something like lemon somewhat acidic helps promote alkalinity in the blood. (according to this acupuncturist). As I told her I take a juiced lemon (together with a juiced orange) first thing every morning. " maybe a bit off topic but I've never understood why folks think that eating certain foods change blood pH. I thought that was a very critical mechanism of homeostasis, ph regulation from the kidneys excreting and the lungs blowing off CO2. I have thought maybe the pH of foods can change/effect different parts of the gut. This may make sense. Different parts of the gut have different levels but the blood? any thoughts on this?
