Guest guest
Wow, Beth. I thought about getting bunion surgery but this puts a whole new scare on it. By the way, I have thought about it for 20 yrs, getting opinions along the way. Okay, it sounds like Wood is a good start. Sedate the LR for starts. The problem is on the Earth meridians. Do you see this in her overall picture? I would still treat Earth. My first patient in the clinic I held as an Earth CF. I started with the standard command points and within a few treatments a pinched nerve on the stomach channel went away. So try the channel, go right into the area of the toes, and just overall moving blood and Qi make change the firing of this nerve. I am sure you can get other more specific responses, but I have found these things to work. Treat he overall energetic, go into the area of pain, or use the Tan method to send the energy into it. Thinks happen. Guest guest
Thanks for the ideas Anne. I actually see a lot of Wood and Fire with her, not so much Earth stuff, however what you mentioned is helpful. I looked at my copies of some Dr. Tan stuff (from 12 and 12, and 24 more in Acupuncture) and none of the points mentioned in there seemed to fit with the toe pain she is having. I guess you are talking more about the balance method? I havent taken a class yet, but I hope to do his seminar in NY that is usually in the fall this year. I did some research online and found some good intro articles about the balance method at drtanshow.com, I will try out one or more of the systems and see how it goes. Thanks good luck with your bunions beth Beth Grubb Licensed Acupuncturist Certified Animal Acupuncturist 410-591-2644 beth www.bethgrubb.com ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
