Guest guest
It's ok, Benjamin, just playing. You're right that we can feel very different on meat or non-meat diets. Patients often tell me how they feel much ore " meaty " when they eat more meat. Also more irritable, ambitious and energetic. And off meat, as you say, more " bovine " mooo, contented, easy going, more willing to show vulnerability. I am still searching for an interesting piece of research, must be 6 or 7 years ago now, which showed that eating meats elevated levels of a particular acid produced in the liver that was associated with mania. Something like that...anyone? Should have saved it as soon as I found it. Hugo " Benjamin Hawes, L.Ac. " <bhawes No disrespect intended, Hugo. Sorry about that. I meant it in the herbivorous, contented way that I felt during my vegetarian years. Bulls are herbivores, of course, and they are hardly pushovers... -Ben Posted by: " Hugo Ramiro " subincor Mon Mar 26, 2007 2:42 pm (PST) Benjamin Howes wrote: I sometimes wish I could go back to being more bovine.
