Guest guest
Dear Group, I'm asking for your list of favorite instructional video/DVD for medical qi gong. I'm especially interested in sitting qi gong. We had very little exposture to qi gong in school (focus on tai chi) and I'd like to teach the local seniors in my town simple qi gong moves. Thank you so much. Jean Dombroski, L.Ac
Guest guest
I particularly like Ken Cohen's DVDs at http://store.soundstrue.com/cohen.html and his CD on The Power of Qi is really good for meditation. Also on the Sounds True label are the DVDs by John P. Milton. I also draw from these as well. http://store.soundstrue.com/miltonj.html Judith At 09:00 AM 3/27/2007, " Jean " <greypal wrote:>I'm asking for your list of favorite instructional video/DVD for >medical qi gong.>I'm especially interested in sitting qi gong.Check out http://daoisthealingarts.com/ at the " media " tab.DVDs of Jeffery Yuen presentations. These are mostly self-cultivation, rather than patient applications of (so-called) " medical qi gong " , but could be considered pre-requisite.The ones " Six healing sounds " , " Daoist meditation " and " The Music Within " I know to be mostly sitting.Chris MaciePS. click on " Cultivation for the Practitioner " on that media page to see a nice picture of Jeffery. Guest guest
Ken Cohen has a nice boxed package out called the Essential Qigong Training Course that includes cds, dvds, and a book. It's made by Sounds True, which I have always found to be of high quality, and can be bought through their website or through Amazon (some can be found used as well.)
