I also have such a patient whom I have been treating for over two years.

I generally treat as Phil has suggested above. My patient is still

declining, but feels that we have managed to slow the progression of

the disease. The most noticable improvements have been in her

speech, fatigue and balance. She subjectively reports having better

motor control with regular treatment. I have also been treating her

with herbs for kidney deficiency - a modification of you gui tang and

zuo gui tang. This seems to help very much with her dizziness. I

have to make formula adjustments seasonally for her.
