Speaking of working in buildings where people are liable to think you're

smoking pot when you're applying a moxa treatment...anyone tried moxa warmers?

I've used CM heat lamps, liquid moxa, fire cupping and so on, which work well,

but would like something like the above. Experience or comments are welcome,

thanks,

Hugo

I can't see a picture of the moxa warmer, but i think i have one. I

bought a electric moxa set back from China.

You add the moxa, which is in a gauze, into the electric plugs which

then heats the moxa up. The moxa can last from 1 week to 1 month.

It's good as there's no smoke and you can control the amount of heat

being inputted. The down side is the plugs are a nightmare to hold in

place. You have to use tape to hold them in place, which for hairy

people can be painful. Also, you have to be careful how hot they get.

They can get very very hot and blister the skin. I've seen bad

blisters in China using these devices.

Otherwise, they're fine.
