Guest guest Posted March 6, 2007 Report Share Posted March 6, 2007 As I mentioned, I am working on a set of free CM software applications for acupuncture, herbs and formulas based around the data from Paradigm (thanks again!!). Once I have imported all the data in to databases, I will be modifying tcmpedia.com to use that data and working more on the applications. In the interim, I've created a quick teaser application for some of the acupuncture information for those that would like to try it: (PC, Mac and Linux versions) http://www.mindbodycures.com/openacu/ The application works over the internet so you have to be on-line to use it. It currently covers the 361 Main Channel points. The full suite of CM tools will tie in to tcmpedia.com and let people share their experiences through the application and on-line with points, herbs and formulas. Enjoy! Will you be including the point's English translation name? It is my intention once the first version is out to continue development of it with any suggestions. So certainly send me anything you would like to see in an application that does points, herb and formulas. I'll do what I can to include it if possible. Hi David! I conceived the idea of a browser based web app doing much the same thing, but my programmer guy has never had the time to do it. I think you may have saved us the trouble - but I don't know yet, though, because I haven't gotten it (your teaser tool) to work. I was trying the linux version, on Gentoo. Since it is just a teaser, I have not had time to play with distros, sorry. If you have GTK+ 2.0 (or higher), glibc-2.3 (or higher) and CUPS (Common UNIX Printing System) then you should have no problem with this version or the later final versions.
