you know, i think a good part of chin med is a segula. i'm often saying to

new patients, in trying to explain 'how does acu work' that there are some

things in this would that we just can't explain. when it comes to chin med,

i accept that. i know empirically that the medicine works, i see the

results in my clinic, and that's enough for me. i don't bang my head

against the wall trying to deduce the mech. of action. the chin.

explanation is enough for me. usually patients will accept this.
