scabies

Hi, a patient of mine contracted scabies from her boyfriend who got it

yada yada yada... they were determined to treat it without permethrin,

and so dowse themselves with tea tree oil. I didn't treat them, or

come into contact with them. just wondering opinions on the matter. I

said there were chinese herbs, but I suggested going for the known

cure, the permethrin. has anyone experienced this, and followed up to

make sure the TTO actually cured them completely? weeks later no

occurences?
