You can try also -

and if you speak/read Hebrew you even might be able to read a few articles of

mine (e.g Skin TCVM).

They even out some good pictures of one of the cases.

BTW, if you read mine on skin + see one of the cases you might get the

impression

of how good TCVM Dermatology is doing for our furry friends,

Hi Alon & dear list members, pulses in dogs & cats are taken at the femoral

artery (hind legs at medial area).

Usually one should stand behind the animal & put his/her 3 fingers (fingers

#2,3,4),

w/proximal finger of the 3 fingers at the level of the animal's heart.

You should practice pulse taking on many sizes, breeds etc of " normal " animals

(it is not the same in 5 Lb. Yorkshire and

150 Lb Great Dane), and it takes at least one year and a few hundreds animals

till you feel A OK with this method.

There is another way (that some % of animal holistic therapists are using, mainly

in France), using a human surrogate.

You have to take the surrogate pulse, and follow its changes as the surrogate is

touching the animal. You have to use a balanced surrogate etc.

>>Do cats respond to changes such as a new baby at home often?<<

Yes. Cats (dogs and all animals) respond to changes as you asked.

If the animal is balanced to begin with, or the situation in the house is not

changed dramatically, everything will be A O K.

If not - Qi Stagnation etc.

I would say that about 25% of my practice is about using TCVM Dermatology in

dogs & cats and a big % out of it is due to emotional issues.

The usual=western vet call it neurodermatosis and will use steroids,

antibiotics, collars, bandages etc for the dog that is licking its paws or

forelegs, or for the cat that is grooming excessively it abdominal coat, or the

horse that scratch himself on the post etc.

TCM pathology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, therapeutical aims, acupuncture points

and remedies are almost the same as in humans, with some modifications as needed

(way of application, avoiding specific toxic remedies to specific breed etc).

I am sure that the other colleagues of mine on the list will be able to donate

more data as needed.

>>by the wat nice article<<
