Guest guest
Below are some points I wish to share with the aim to help anyone who needs it. They are basic but often overlooked points The Top Ten 1) Prognosis 2) Adequate time at initial consultation (if appropriate have at least one joke ready) 3) Research for patient and give them(notes) as required 4) Feedback sessions 5) Show anatomical drawings and explain findings using these 6) Call any first time acupuncture recipient to check ANY adverse, positive or worrying reactions-on the same day/evening 7) Don't talk too much, explain too much but do leave alone for some time 8) Don't NEED the patient, they need you, maintain dignity, integrity honesty(they may need to be referred which they will greatly appreciate) 9) Give brochures to satisfied clients for friends/family 10) Study, study, study there is so much to know This in most cases will be enough to leave behind most, costly, annoying marketing plans Ray Ford
