Guest guest
Questions: Ideas regarding the swelling. Dangerous in the future? Importance of draining it or not? How to get it to reduce and so on. Thank you for any ideas or information! Male, 32 6' 4 " , 230 lbs, weight fits build, except his middle which carries his extra weight (20 lbs) Has had a moveable, soft, painless lump at the rear base of neck for over a decade. It has a dot at the centre (opening to an oil gland). In western medicine it looks like a sebaceous cyst. Tongue: smallish body, light red or pink, thin, yellowish sometimes greasy coating. Gloss low. He has a history of constant gas and flatulence, strong odour. His appetite is good, as is his energy. He plays a frisbee team sport. He used to eat a large amount of dairy and bread. He sleeps well and does not have much stress. He went on a few courses of " Bo He Wan " and " Nei Xiao Luo Li Wan " , after which his prior signs of food stagnation leading to phlegm heat lessened by about half, and his cyst seemed to stop growing for a few years. Currently: His tongue coating is medium thickness, sometimes greasy, white, sometimes a little yellow. His gas is greatly reduced, and he has reduced his dairy consumption by three-quarters. Guest guest
Hi, As per ur doubt i can say that yellow greasy tongue indicates phlegm patterns so u can try acupuncture for his problem. Pts can be selected from spleen, stomach, liver & urinary bladder channels. For the lump which is palpable we can try to bleed the jingwell pt of the particular channel; on which the lump is lying.
