Hi Attilio! Age and health to begin with plus private practice has never, ever been good to me. I can't keep on like this, that's for sure. I hope to finish the diagnosis, record and research database, though. Maybe without the clinic expense I can hire a somewhat motivated programmer, the volunteers start on it but they soon quit without producing any results. -- Regards, Pete http://www.pete-theisen.com/
Guest guest
Pete, It's funny you should cite health for your reason to retire. I believe retiring is a major cause of ill health and premature death. Idle bodies and minds create neurotic people and ill health. I've seen many elderly people who still work in great health. In China, i saw a very old man perform some stretches a yoga teacher would be hard pressed to do. In short, i'm totally against retiring, i hope i never will. At least you're still carrying on with your database project, i hope it works out in the end. However, my health issues are due to " permanent " auto crash injuries suffered in more than one accident after I opened the clinic. The docs say I need surgery to correct the damage, but I think they just want to get a bite of whatever is left of the insurance and that the surgery won't really help. MRI pictures show me with 10 bulging disks. These are impinging on the nerves causing all kinds of problems. I can't work hard enough to make a go of anything when I am in this condition. > It's funny you should cite health for your reason to retire. Maybe I will finish the research database. -- Regards, Pete http://www.pete-theisen.com/
