Here's an article that came out in April 2006, linking stroke incidence with

10.5 year peak cycles in solar flares

and 7 year geo-magnetic earth cycles.

Since most of life on this planet, 99.9% or so, depends on the sun,

this may warrant more of these kinds of studies.

Geo-magnetic effects on biology: " Possibly the most closely studied of the

variable Sun's biological effects has been the degradation of homing

pigeons<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homing_pigeon>'

navigational abilities during geomagnetic storms. Pigeons and other

migratory animals, such as dolphins <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolphin>and

whales <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whale>, have internal biological

compasses composed of the mineral

magnetite<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetite>wrapped in bundles of

nerve cells. "

By the way, anyone know how solar flares cycles correspond to Chinese/

Ayurvedic or Western astrology?
