Swelling due to removal of lymph nodes

I'm just curious what treatment methods you would use for a patient who

had breast cancer and had a majority of her lymph nodes removed. After

chemo and surgery, there are no signs of the cancer left. But due to

the removal of the lymph nodes, the patient is experience swelling of

the arm on the side where she had the surgery.

you might suggest lymphodema massage. Some PT's are doing this.

 

there's a CA book that comes highly recced to me: Management of

Cancer with by Li Peiwen. it breaks down CA tx by

type and what west. therapies the patient is rcving: chemo/rad, btwn

rounds,

etc.
