I do discount 20.00 off my treatments for hardship, geriatrics, and pediatrics. Is there an appropriate way to document this? This stuff should be covered in business seminars and also at the school level. I hope we can approach the schools and ask them to offer more seminars as well as make their practice mgmt classes stronger. Mike W. I do agree practice management classes need to be stronger especially when it comes to billing, but in some defense acupuncture codes were different when I was in school and it has been some time since I was in school so I think to some extent it is a use it or lose it issue, besides we all know this is particular/tricky stuff. I have never seen anyone bill any so-called discount on a medical claim form because it does not belong there. Are you located in CA? Mike W.
