Guest guest
Thought this might interest those on list (from their website): SBCOM to close after 25 years SBCOM has made the decision that it is financially unable to continue in the future. A combination of factors contributed to this rapid decline in finance: poor Fall admissions, many students having to leave the area for personal as well as financial reasons, a nation wide trend of lower admissions in most acupuncture colleges, especially California. Santa Barbara is a wonderful community but high housing and rent prices combined with a low paying job market make it increasingly difficult for many to stay in this area. SBCOM will continue to finish its trimester and graduate its last class by late December 2007. Our clinic will be open until then. We wish to extend our love and care to everyone in our community and elsewhere who have helped our college throughout the last 25 years and still work to support our efforts in this difficult time.
