hugo, moderation is such a necessity in life. actually, i know folks who figure

i will go 2 a special altmed h.d.double toothpicks b/c of this, i like 2 keep

stevia and splenda at home. stevia doesn't provide the bulk needed 4 some

projects. mind you, i know some who in go thru a large bag of splenda in a

month, and my bags last usually a few months. i teach folks this: moderation in

all strong and concentrated flavors. that includes sweets. then i add a concept

that completely surprises many people due to its newness: it is completely

irrelevant whether or not flavors and foods have calorie- moderation's need

remains the same! non caloric doesn't mean it's innocuous when u consume immense

amounts! lynn

This sort of questions comes up really often, and I

wonder that it does so. The general answer seems to be

clear enough for me, at any rate: There is little, or

perhaps nothing, in our world which is not damaging

when there is too much of it it, or too little of it.

Excess and deficiency. Too much of anything: air,

water, light, heat, cold, sugar and so on, will have

harmful effects, i.e. " possible cancer development " ,

" low sperm count " , " brain damage " , " cosmetic

dehancement " and so on.

There is not a substance I am aware of that does not

follow this pattern. Of course this is not a fixed,

quantitative issue, as science would love to have it

be, but rather a qualitative and relational issue

first, with specific quantities issuing from the

qualitative relationships (which, again, exists

first).

Hope that is of some help,

Hugo
