Aframomum melegueta (aka Grains of Paradise) is a member of the ginger

family that grows widely in Africa. It contains gingerols - antiinflammatory

agents, useful in multiple forms of inflammation, including cuts and wounds,

arthritis, dermatitis, etc.

 

Aframomum melegueta compounds also have antimicrobial effects. For
