Guest guest
Hi Bob and all, Bob indicated that Bluepoppy press http://www.bluepoppypress.com/ cannot continue because subscriptions from interested readers could the not cover the cost of sourcing new articles, transalting them and mounting the translations and maintaining the site. . Today, I tried to source an old article on the site [ http://www.bluepoppypress.com/ ]. It appears that the site is gone from WWW. However, members can still access the journal in the members' area at http://www.bluepoppy.com/press/journal/index.cfm Bob, would it be possible for you to store the articles from the Blue-Poppy Press area in the Jouirnal area? It is would be a great pity, if those valuable articles were lost to the profession. Best regards,
Guest guest
Phil, I just wanted to point out that your posting seems to suggest mistakenly that Blue Poppy Press is somehow ceasing ALL publication. It is only their on-line journal that is being discontinued. Blue Poppy Press's books and articles are still available and will be in the future. I just saw Honora Wolfe of Blue Poppy at Pacific Symposium this past weekend here in San Diego, and with all of their exciting projects in the pipeline, I can only say that " rumours of their death are (not only) greatly exaggerated " , but totally false.
