Guest guest
Hi, I am looking for new TCM software for billing; the one I have isn't working well and want to get something new. Am wondering what is out there that people enjoy using, especially something that can batch claims for electronic billing. Thanks, Ruth Schlesinger

Guest guest
Dear David, I have to apologise to you and other Mac users, I'm afraid it's Windows XP only. I did go to a Mac consultant to try and get it converted but was told it was too complex and the only way would be to start again! I have had about 30 enquiries similar to yours. The only thing I can suggest (which is hateful to most Mac users) is to buy a cheap PC laptop to use the software on. So far looking into the problem I have found that file forms that work on both would mean I lose the original format ending up with something clunky and clumsy with too many menus and clicks required, something I have been trying to avoid. I do appreciate that this is a problem. It was done in Windows for practical not philosophical considerations! Sorry, Lorraine,
Guest guest
Lorriane, Thanks for the explanation. I understand the difficulties for a small developer to support multiple platforms. Some information for your support of FAQ page, perhaps: The new Intel based Macs can run Windows via a application called Bootcamp available from Apple. You don't get any support from them, but you don't pay anything either. It works so well that I know several people who have sold their Windows machine and now just run both Windows and OSX on their Apple. One guy I saw who showed me a demo, said that it booted up in about 1/2 the time as his windows machine and worked just as fast. http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/ Another solution, is a virtualization solution that allows you to run both simultaneously. I have not hear anyone using it, but it should be a much better solution than the old Virtual PC solution. http://www.parallels.com/en/products/workstation/mac/ Regards David On Nov 10, 2006, at 12:58 AM, herbsandhelpers wrote: > Dear David, > I have to apologise to you and other Mac users, I'm afraid > it's Windows XP only. Guest guest
Dear David, Your reply is very valuble I don't understand it but maybe Mac users will! I get the impression that it may be possible to run the software on a Mac then? If you feel you would be a suitable person to try this out on behalf of other Mac users out there then I would be willing to give you a free licensed copy to practise with and then maybe report back on your experience. I also feel these discussions are perhaps not appropriate for this list so please contact me off list: Lorraine Hodgkinson : info It really would be fantastic to be able to offer it in Mac, it's so embarrassing turning people down. Thanks for your help, Lorraine.
