Guest guest
Some patterns for hypertension are: Liver fire rising, Turbid mucus obstructing the Middle Burner and Liver Yang ascending. If there were only 192 participants and three groups (traditional, formula and sham) I don't think there were enough people in three traditional subgroups to come to any conclusions. Further the treatment period was too short and not enough treatments were given in that period. From members' experience is high blood pressure difficult to treat by acupuncture alone and does it take some time? Since there are other modalities to Chinese medicine why concentrate on acupuncture alone, when diet and exercise are also important. Qigong is also useful. In fact simply slowing down your respiratory rate to less than 10 breath per minute for a half an hour and practicing every day can significantly lower your blood pressure. You don't need any device to help you do this. As breathing slows, muscles surrounding small blood vessels in the body relax. Blood then flows more freely through the body.
