Guest guest
I have a question to those that have been working in drug rehab. Have you found any herbal protocols that you use often? Are they drug specific? Are you will to share thanks Oakland, CA 94609 - Laura Stropes Chinese Herbal Medicine Tuesday, October 31, 2006 1:25 PM Re: Treating Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) Hi all, My experience treating RSD is also very limited, but the one patient I have treated has had considerable (though very slow!) improvement with all of her symptoms. With acupuncture we were able to stop the pain from moving to additional sites, then slowly reduced the pain to one limb, then built up muscle mass and gained mobility. Now (8 years later!) she is exercising regularly and able to lead a normal life with minimal pain, as long as she has a " maintenance " treatment once a month. I have also given her herbs - although she hasn't always been very compliant. I have mainly used Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang and Dang Gui Si Ni Tang modifications, and that has also helped a lot with her pain levels, muscle mass, temperature changes, and deep chilliness. Only one patient to report on, but definitely slow and steady progress... Good luck, Chris Bluestone (Copper Sulphate) (2.5% solution as topical nail bath) may be useful. The Chinese name is Danfan. See data from Chinese Govmt Herbal Database at: http://tinyurl.com/yhpn8m It is excellent for athlete's Foot, in humans and interdigital dermatitis in dogs. However, I have not tried it in nail fungus. Best regards,
