Guest guest
A male patient in his 50's has been experiencing urinary urgency at night. Wakes up 4 or 5 times -- scanty amount, no burning. His Kidney pulses are weak but no Yang def. signs. He does have damp heat signs - red face, red spots on tongue, yellow coating, tender on Sp 6 and 9. Today his head was very sweaty. His Spleen pulse is big and slippery. Liver pulse is moderate. He claims to be emotionally even, but he's always 15 minutes early and 'antsy'. Does anyone have ideas about the urgency? He went to urologist who couldn't figure out why. Another OMD suggested I try Jia Wei Xiao San; he's on second bottle. Some nights have improved, others have not. I am doing UB 28, SP 6, Sp 9, LI ll, LI4, Liv 3 in addition to back points for his chronic back pain, original reason for visits. Any ideas on diagnosis and herbal formula? Thank you. Urologist should have checked, but perhaps he/she didn't. Regards, Pete
