Guest guest
On how many fronts do we need to fight? It feels to me that it is coming from all sides. Acupuncture is now a systemic phenomena releasing global factors; the governor vetoes both bills that come to his desk (the lesser of the two simply because the Physical Therapists actually have a central organisation that constitute more than 10% of the profession unlike TCM; now herbal medicine too? I have a feeling if we don't actually defend some of this our future is not as bright as our past, and our past isn't that bright either for goodness sakes. There are an inestimable amount of lurking variables in this study that any researcher worth their salt (there are few out there I'm sure) would just simply toss this study in the garbage. The main question I have is why in their topic do they say " TCM causing... " , this is akin to " Allopathy causing... " a bit vague and extremely too broad. If I were a conspiracy theorist I would say that there is a movement to discredit TCM, but I am not, I won't fill in the holes of areas of what I do not know. But I will say this (and have said it before), we must come together as a profession, the laxity and lack of internal (as in profession) research is causing harm to the profession and will not provide practitioners with a solid base should the winds of adversity continue to set itself against us.
