That agrees with my own observation of the acupuncture Txs used by many many colleagues who allowed me the privilege to accompany them in their work. No two of them Tx in exactly the same way, but most of them get good to excellent clinical results. > ... with only ONE technique consistent in all practitioners. MOST if (not all) professionals in the healing arts intend (consciously or unconsciously) their patients to heal, or at least for their conditions to improve or ease. However, CLUED-IN practitioners, especially those involved in Energy Medicine (like acupuncture, Qigong, Reiki, Guasha, Herbal Medicine, homeopathy, medical hypnosis, etc), use CONSCIOUSLY FOCUSED INTENTION in their healing techniques. Some go to great lengths to nurture their OWN physical and mental sharpness by taking regular exercise, practicing Taichi, Qigong, martial arts, or regular meditation, etc. Some even add a spiritual dimension - conscious prayer, whereby they call on their G_d/Creator or Angel for help to heal their patient. Also, IMO, human (and some animal) patients seem to sense the goodwill and focused intention of the therapist to help/heal. FOCUSED INTENTION, IMO, is more powerful than " professional but disinterested " intention to heal. Best regards,
Guest guest
Intention no doubt plays a huge role, but it will never sell to the Evidence-Based Medicine crowd who are increasingly controlling the health care dollars.
