A patient has fixed pain in the epigastric area. It is tender to pressure and

movement, worse with food intake and cold drinks. He is underweight since

childhood when he had tuberculosis (BCG) vaccination, which could have settled

in the epigastric region, since there are no tb related lung symptoms.

Anyone please inform of the pathology.

Yours sincerely

Steve

Hi Steve,

It is difficult to ascertain whether your patient's

symptoms are due to the vaccination. What you have

now sounds like stagnation (worse with pressure and

eating) of cold (worse with cold beverages) and blood

(fixed location). You will need to use warming

methods and to move stagnant qi and blood.
