More than 7.5 million words in >900 online dictionaries are indexed by the OneLook search engine. This is a very powerful search engine that combines results from all over the internet giving you access to a complete definition listing for most any word. Plus, there are several other interesting features... Crossword mode: Using the customize page you can change the " ? " wildcard character to only match real letters. It also allows optional spaces between letters allowing you to find phrases that are run together. For example, searching for " h?ttot?ot " will find " hot to trot " in this mode, and " a?ric??li?? " will find " African lily " . Reverse Dictionary: Click on OneLook's reverse dictionary to type in a concept -- word, phrase, sentence, part of a definition -- and get back a list of words and phrases related to that concept.
