Guest guest
Does anyone know a therapeutic use for persimmon leaf, stem, or bark. My friend Rachel has the male persimmon trees on her farm. Someone told her that there was some use in wound healing when the leaf is used externally, but I didn't find anything about that. Guest guest
I have heard that the fruit is similiar in action to cranberry in that it cleanses the Urinary Bladder, it's rather tart so probably contains a good amount of tannins which generally indicates a bitter quality as well. As you know we do use the calyx, so there should be historical information, though i can find none in english texts. If you do find info concerning the rest of the plant, i would be grateful for the information as well.
