Dear Tom and Stefan,

 

Thank you both for replying to my earlier post concerning my patient with

Hailey Hailey disease. I will give these formulae a shot, and also the

acupuncture protocol which you, Tom, suggested. My patient is now cooler and

calmer, the result of being on Prednisone for a week. Her rash is drying and

receding. I know it will reappear when she has weaned off the prednisone. I

think one of the big problems with 'miracle' drugs such as Prednisone, in

addition to the more obvious and hideous problems, is they reinforce faith in

the powers of Western Medicine. I can see a change in this parient, she now is

just a little dismissive of because we didn't achieve the

miracle of almost immediate regression of symptoms. Too bad, I hope she sticks

with it.
